John was born and raised in Pawtucket, RI and has been covering the Boston Celtics since 2006, when he launched RedsArmy.com. He played his college basketball at Emerson College in Boston, where he remains one of the school's top All Time scorers and rebounders. He also played professionally in Greece. He's also a 20+ year television veteran, creating, producing, and reporting on news and lifestyle shows in Boston and New York.
